Ascalon - LA, Can be run by almost any prof. Not hard. I assume a Ranger and a Derv could run this at relatively the same speed.
LA - Droks, Dominated by Derv runners. Although, With the current Shadow Form any prof can actually run to droks. It's much easier then people think. |

running to toa from la can be done on almost any chr - ive seen monks, necros and paras run it a few times and im sure in the old days even monks used to run to droks.
These days tho i agree usually its dervs, war and rangers who are the most common runners in gw these days. |

I'd say Assassin as the easiest as you can perma SF have enough speed boosts and shadow arts has enough defence skills to actually tank the mobs you run past.
Fastest imo would still be the Dervish with their ability to have a constant 33 -50% speed boost by chaining pious haste and dash. |

assassin FTW! Assassin can hold his own vs a derv while running easily. Perma SF not needed for droks run .

For the Ascalon to Lion'a Arch run: pretty much any prof can run this well. The only thing to really worry about is the water snares from ice elementals near Yak's Bend. It helps to have a spell blocking skill (or quick hex removal) but there are paths that avoid the snares almost completely. I persoanlly have run this many times on a sin, derv and warrior. Sin was probably the easiest, with perma shadow form, but the others did well too.
For the Drok's run: Definitely you'll want to go with either a D/A or a Sin primary. Other profs CAN get the job done, but they are much more difficult to master. If you're willing to use consumables (mostly alcohol is enough) that will make the run easier. Use booze + dwarven instability + drunken master in the places where there is excessive KD or where you don't have to change your stances much (for things like SF). |

Ascalon-LA: Dervish is slightly faster (random hexes stripping natural/ds makes sin runner a bit slow here compared to dervs even with wastrels in this area)
Droks run: Lonars: Sins are generally faster, but it will depend on spawn (able to chain step while under the effects of sf is huge). But there are times where the spawn doesn't allow you to chain step effectively or even forcing you to wait for sf to recharge. Drift: Sins (longer dash makes all the difference) Snakes: Sins (dash) Talus: If you are using drunken master for sin (safe choice), then dervs are slightly faster. If you use stride, you can be faster if you can avoid getting hexed at the wrong time, otherwise you will be slower (riskier choice). Summary: Sins run droks better. contact me in game if you need help: Demonic Sin Ex |
